Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Certified Sonographer located in Mesquite, TX. The Certified Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensuring high-quality imaging. Daily tasks include preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, documenting findings, and collaborating with physicians to interpret results. The role requires maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the process and ensuring compliance with medical guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications

• Certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Proficiency in Radiology and Vascular sonography techniques
• Strong knowledge of medical practices and diagnostic procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and comfort
• Prior experience in an obstetric and gynecological setting is a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related medical field
