In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Use manufacturer service manuals, diagnostic tools, and software to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to explain repair needs and costs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with automotive technology and continuing education requirements.

Requirements

• Certified Service Technician designation or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, preferably with Ford vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
