Schedule & Shifts: FT Days, 40 hours a week, days

On Call: The same evening to the following morning. Occasional on-call weekends for 24 hours.

Unit: Operating Room

The role you’ll contribute:

Assists surgeons by preparing operating rooms and appropriately arranging surgical equipment and supplies.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Demonstrates competence and knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures, including OR dress policy, to ensure a safe environment and preparation for surgery.
• Maintains aseptic technique. Reports any break in aseptic technique to the circulator to prevent infection.
• Performs proper counts per operating room policy and procedures, alerting the circulator when necessary of closure so count can be done.
• Ensures that instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready for surgery.

Qualifications
