Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech to join the on-site Surgery team in Grand Junction, CO. This role supports OR preparation, assists during surgery, and ensures sterility and counts are maintained.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CST certification, Colorado licensure, and current BLS. The position offers a hourly wage of $30.00–$34.50 plus a $10,000 bonus paid over 3 years and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• CST certification required.
• Current Colorado CST licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operating Room.
• Assist During Surgery.
• Prepare patients for surgery by cleansing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain sterility.
• Help clean and restock the operating room after surgery.
• Maintain accurate surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retained surgical items.
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, such as lights, suction machines, and sterilization tools.
