Position: Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Location: Evanston, IL 60201
Assignment Dates: August 11, 2025 – June 7, 2026 (2025–2026 School Year)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:25 AM – 3:15 PM (Approx. 37.5 hours/week)
Setting: K–8 School Environment

Position Overview:

Weare seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join ourteam for the upcoming school year. This role involves a blend of general nursing responsibilities and active participation as a member of the IEP team to support students with diverse needs across a K–8 setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily nursing care to students, including routine and emergency health services

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student health plans

  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines

  • Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and academic success

  • Serve as a health resource and promote health education within the school community

    Caseload Details:
  • K–8 student population

  • Disabilities vary across physical, cognitive, and health-related needs

    Requirements:
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certified School Nurse (CSN) endorsement — required

  • Active Illinois RN license

  • Current CPR certification
