Job summary

Job Description Summary

Certified Scaffold Supervisor

This is an exciting opportunity to support large, long-term projects on Theme Parks in the Orlando area. Multiple positions available!

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively supervise up to (3) Scaffold Erectors, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding without the direct and continuous supervision of the Construction Manager. Act as the competent person on site as required by OSHA and as per the guidelines outlined in the Sunbelt Competent Person Procedures.
• Perform project management tasks including time and schedule management, cost control, customer communication, identify problem areas and implement solutions.
• Use knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding and ensure proper use of scaffolding material.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Combined experience as Scaffold Erector and/or Supervisor for a minimum of 5 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus (optional).
• Trade school preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $24.05 – $30.06 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors such as position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
