Job summary

NY Retina in New York is seeking a Certified Retinal Angiographer / Ophthalmic Photographer to join our retina specialty team. The role focuses on capturing high-quality ophthalmic images to support diagnosis, treatment, and clinical research in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in ophthalmic photography, familiarity with FA/ICG, OCT, and strong attention to detail. CRA/JCAHPO certifications are preferred, and a team-oriented, patient-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy.
• Experience in ophthalmic photography and digital imaging.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundus, anterior segment, and external ophthalmic photography
• Conduct fluorescein angiography (FA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICG)
• Perform diagnostic imaging such as OCT and other computerized imaging scans
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and manage supply inventory
• Accurately document and maintain imaging records within patient charts and systems
• Prepare images for physician review, presentations, and clinical use
• Assist with imaging for clinical trials as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Position Overview

This role is responsible for capturing high-quality ophthalmic images to support diagnosis, treatment, and clinical research. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fundus, anterior segment, and external ophthalmic photography
