Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), you will provide respiratory care, perform diagnostic procedures, and monitor patient responses. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining mechanical ventilation, administering treatments, recording medical data, performing diagnostic tests, maintaining equipment, and assessing respiratory care protocols.

Experience

• Preferred: Acute care hospital experience.

Education

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Certification Program.

Licenses and Certifications

• CRT credential from the NBRC.
• RCP license from the State of Texas.
• BLS certification (required).
• ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).
