Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation in Newark, OH is seeking compassionate Certified Respiratory Therapists to join our clinical team. The CRT will provide respiratory care to residents with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• CRT certification required; provide respiratory care to residents.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and therapy teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor resident respiratory status.
• Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment.
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
• Monitor residents with COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and therapy teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and clinical discussions.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care plans and treatment goals.
• Respond to changes in resident respiratory condition and communicate findings promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
