Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Ohio is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our dedicated clinical team. You will perform respiratory assessments, administer oxygen therapy, operate respiratory equipment, and support pulmonary rehabilitation for residents with acute and chronic conditions.

This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy teams, as well as ongoing education for residents, families, and staff.

Formación

• CRT certification is required.
• Experience providing respiratory care to residents with acute or chronic pulmonary conditions.
• Ability to educate residents, families and staff on respiratory care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor resident respiratory status.
• Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment.
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
• Monitor residents with COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and therapy teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident care conferences.
• Educate residents, families and staff on respiratory care plans and goals.
• Respond to changes in resident respiratory condition and communicate findings promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

As a CRT, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care services to residents with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions while working alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to exceptional resident outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor resident respiratory status

• Monitor residents with COPD, pneumonia, asthma, congestive heart failure, and other cardiopulmonary conditions

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and therapy teams

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident care conferences

• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care plans and treatment goals

• Respond to changes in resident respiratory condition and communicate findings promptly to the clinical team

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
