We have a client in the healthcare industry seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our dedicated team. From emergency resuscitations to mechanical ventilation, you’ll be an essential part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional respiratory care that makes a difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care, including oxygen and aerosol therapy per departmental protocols.
• Administer intermittent therapy and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, and document accordingly.
• Provide airway management and closed chest compressions in emergency situations.
• Assess patients and recommend care adjustments in alignment with established protocols.
• Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory care equipment.
• Perform as charge therapist when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRT).
• Licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) or applicable state board.
• BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Clinical education experience required.
• Must possess strong knowledge of medical terminology and current respiratory care practices.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and in urgent care settings.
• Familiarity with providing care across all age groups.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to operate and assemble respiratory equipment.
• Visual acuity and ability to assist in patient positioning and mobility.
• Capable of moving equipment and performing bedside care.
• Must adhere to infection control protocols involving exposure to biohazards.
