Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care, perform diagnostic tests, and support patients on invasive and noninvasive ventilation. The role requires strong patient-centered care in a hospital setting and collaboration with the care team.

Applicants must hold state credentials (RRT/RCP), NBRC-CRT, and ACLS/BCLS certifications with timelines as required, and travel is not involved.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 4 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Certificate

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. The Respiratory Therapist supports the facility’s standards of performance and promotes the vision/mission/values of the organization

What qualifications you will need:
