POSITION OVERVIEW

26 Weeks a year - $50K Bonus for CRNA in ND – W2 or 1099 - Commuters Welcome

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Preoperative Assessment: Evaluate patients' medical histories and conduct thorough assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans tailored to individual needs.
  2. Anesthesia Administration: Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia during surgical or diagnostic procedures, monitoring patients closely for any signs of adverse reactions.
  3. Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.) during procedures and adjust anesthetic levels as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort.
  4. Postoperative Care: Oversee patients' recovery from anesthesia, ensuring proper management of any pain or complications.
  5. Emergency Response: Be prepared to manage any anesthesia-related emergencies, such as allergic reactions, airway obstructions, or cardiovascular issues.
  6. Collaborative Care: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: Doctoral degree (DNP or DNAP) from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  2. Experience: Relevant anesthesia experience required.
  3. Licensing:
    • Registered Nurse’s License.
    • CRNA Certification.
    • ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
    • DEA License.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to values of compassion, inclusion, excellence, and collaboration.
  5. Proficiency in blocks, lumbar punctures, and intubation is a bonus.
  6. Familiarity with the Meditech EHR system is a bonus.
