Job Responsibilities
  • Provide Primary Anesthesia Care (General, Regional, Monitored Anesthesia Care) to surgical patients.
  • Perform preoperative evaluations, determine anesthetic techniques, and discuss patient status with surgeons and physicians.
  • Respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue and intubations, and assist with resuscitations.
  • Monitor patients continuously during anesthesia, record vital signs, and manage anesthesia equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper functioning of anesthesia equipment.
  • Provide Pain Management Services, including evaluations, treatments, and PICC line insertions.
  • Participate in professional development and stay updated on new trends and techniques in anesthesia.
Licensure and Education
  • Licensed Nurse, Advanced Practice (APN) and Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Masters degree in Nursing with 2-4 years of anesthesia experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication, computer skills, and knowledge of anesthesia delivery equipment.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, AANA certification, and ACLS certification.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to transport and lift patients, perform CPR, and move around the care area.
Additional Information
  • Report patient safety events promptly, promote safety culture, and communicate effectively.
