This is a per diem position, with a pay rate of $200/hr.
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for the pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative care of the patient requiring anesthesia for surgical, medical, therapeutic or diagnostic procedures. This position will rotate throughout different hospitals in the healthcare system and provide anesthesia services across a variety of clinical settings, which could include an academic medical center, community hospitals, or ambulatory centers.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics and pharmacology as related to anesthesia. The major clinical component providing experience with a variety of anesthesia techniques and procedures for all types of surgery in the adult and pediatric population.
