A leading healthcare provider in Michigan is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their team. The role includes administering various types of anesthetics, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating closely with surgical teams. This full-time position requires board certification and active licenses, offering a comprehensive approach to patient care across diverse medical environments.
Job Title : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job Specialty : Anesthesia Job Duration : Full-Time Shift : Varied Day Shifts Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : At least 2 years of CRNA experience (not including RN or training). License : Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses required. Certifications : Must be Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS required or willing to obtain. Must-Have : - Board Certification by AANA. - Active Michigan licenses in Nursing and Specialty. - Up-to-date COVID and Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain by start). - Clean Malpractice / License History. - Eligibility for credentialing / privileging. Job Description : - Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for various medical procedures. - Provide anesthesia services to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatric and pediatric populations. - Perform airway management services as needed throughout the hospital. - Lead within the professional practice setting and support professional development of peers. - Collaborate with anesthesia / surgeon / perioperative teams for patient care. - Promote a healthy work environment and professional communication standards. - Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings. - Develop appropriate anesthetic plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists. - Maintain accurate documentation of care for all procedures. - Provide education and precept new staff and students. - Participate in quality improvement / patient safety initiatives. - Maintain compliance with regulatory standards. - Drive cost-effective resource use and maintain awareness of financial implications of decisions. - Work in varied environments, including operating rooms, radiology, ICU, and ER as required. - Exhibit respect for diversity and demonstrate customer service values. - Participate in community activities and / or professional organizations. Note : Must meet employment health, credentialing processes, and vaccination requirements. Offers are contingent on successful credentialing.
