Description

The responsibilities of this role include:

1. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
2. Collaborate with qualified anesthesiologists.
3. Supervise student anesthetists and other healthcare providers.
4. Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments.
5. Develop and implement anesthetic plans and initiate techniques.

Department Staff

• 23 full-time CRNAs, 4 part-time
• 14 anesthesiologists
• 3 anesthesia technicians

Schedule Notes

• Full-time position; call rotation required.

Qualifications & Experience

• NYS RN License & CRNA certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Knowledge of various anesthesia agents and their applications

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $265,000 - $278,000 per year
• NYS benefits and pension
• $20/hr shift differential for hours between 3 PM - 7 AM and for weekend shifts over 4 hours
• Educational reimbursement up to $4,750 annually
