This position serves as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia, servicing the Department of Surgical Services. The CRNA is responsible for anesthetics performed at Dayton Children's Hospital, under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within the Children's Anesthesia Group, Inc. The CRNA applies specialized knowledge, skills, research, and competency gained through advanced professional training to promote optimal care for neonatal and pediatric patients. The CRNA utilizes pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising Anesthesiologist to develop plans for anesthetic induction, maintenance, and emergence.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduation from an accredited AANA program, CRNA certification, licensure in Ohio, PALS certification, communication, customer service, basic computer skills, manual dexterity, and physical/emotional stamina.
Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of neonatal/pediatric experience.
