• Must have an active, unrestricted WA license or ability to attain it.
• Experience in General Adult Surgery and Anesthesia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care for 4-8 patients per shift.
• Respond to call requirements with a 15-minute response time.

Job description

Location: Northeastern Washington, Stevens County

Setting:

Hospital - Outpatient/Inpatient

Start Date:

Oct 2, 2023

Schedule:

1. Monday-Friday scheduled hours
2. + 2 Nights CALL/week
3. Shifts: 10 hours with a day off after call nights
4. + every 4th weekend

Call Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted WA license OR ability to attain WA license
• Clean Malpractice/DEA/NPDB record (no active or unresolved cases, no large payouts in past 10 years)
• Willing to commit to a minimum of 3-6 months; options for extensions
• Must provide your availability and be able to work full weeks

Call Details:

• In-house; 15-minute response time
• 1:4 call ratio
• 1-2 call patients seen per shift

Surgery/Skill Types:

• General Adult, occasional peds preferred
• Spinal/Epidural/Regional anesthesia
• OB, pain management, post-op epidural, extremity blocks, steroid for lumbar
• Transforaminal lumbar, Central & Arterial Line placement
• X-ray guided blocks preferred
