Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a passionate Chief CRNA committed to high-quality patient care and team leadership at our HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Sun City, Florida. Located approximately 45 minutes south of Tampa off I-75, our facility serves Sun City Center, Ruskin, Wimauma, Riverview, Apollo Beach, and Gibsonton.

As the Chief CRNA, you will lead and supervise a dedicated team of anesthesia professionals, playing a key role in aligning facility goals with divisional objectives and ensuring optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
2. Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
3. Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
4. Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
5. Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
6. Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
7. Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
8. Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Highlights of Opportunity/Qualified Candidates:

• Care Team Model with 4 physicians and 4 CRNAs covering 4 ORs plus 2 NORA.
• Diverse case mix including heavy Ortho, General, Endo, Neuro, Gastro, Bariatrics.
• No hearts, no pediatrics, no OB cases.
• Average surgical volume of 3,600 cases annually.
• Supervision model with 2 physicians during the day; physicians sit cases as needed.
• No call, no weekends; schedule is 4, 10-hour days.
