The Opportunity
Optigy is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent position in the scenic town of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. This role offers the chance to work independently in a collaborative care model with a diverse patient population across surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetric procedures.
Practice Details:
• Schedule: Full-time, Days (40 hours/week)
• Call: Included - rotation required
• CRNA works under supervision or collaboration with anesthesiologist/surgeon
• Full range of duties: pre-op assessment, anesthetic administration, intra-op and post-op care
• EMR System: MidMichigan platform
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures
• Monitor and respond to patient status throughout procedures
• Maintain all records and documentation related to anesthesia care
• Provide emergency resuscitation and participate in code responses
• Attend continuing education and department meetings as required
Skills & Procedures:
• Adult and pediatric venipuncture
• Arterial line insertion
• Medication dosing and monitoring
• Airway management
• Sterile technique
• Regional anesthesia
Requirements:
• Active Michigan CRNA license & NBCRNA certification
• Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience (no new grads)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Physically able to assist in patient transfers, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform clinical tasks
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000
• 1.5x Overtime and On-Call Pay
• Up to $70,000 Sign-On Bonus
