Locums - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, CRNA Job

Clinical Role:

Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible CRNA for a locum position. Start date: ASAP. Estimated shifts per month: 20. Coverage needs include five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week (open to a combination). Typical day involves cases starting at 7:30 AM with 4-5 cases in each room. No APP/mid-level coverage available.

Typical Cases:

• Total knees
• Total hips
• Breast reductions
• Community urology procedures
• Vascular procedures like femoral-popliteal bypass
• Gastrointestinal procedures - lap chole, appendectomy, hernia repairs
• Spine surgeries - laminectomies (multi-level)
• ENT - Thyroidectomy
• GI - colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP

Other Onsite Specialties: Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Vascular, GI, Podiatry, Urology.

No state license required (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license). Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS, and NBCRNA. Will work solo with full privileges. No call required. EMR/charting system: Cerner.
