A leading healthcare provider in Philadelphia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team. The role involves working in various clinical settings with a focus on cardiac procedures. Candidates should have at least 3 years of CRNA experience, preferably in a complex academic medical center, and familiarity with EPIC. The position offers flexible 10-hour and 12-hour shifts with no call coverage, ensuring a supportive work environment.
Clinical locations covered: Cath Lab, Cardiac MRI, IR, CT, and procedures in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Prep and Recovery Unit.
Case volume: Number of cases per day varies based on clinical location assignment, ranging from as little as one case per day in the Cath Lab to up to 5 MRIs in a day.
Shifts: CRNAs work 10-hour (7a-5p) and 12-hour (7a-7p) shifts. Currently, there is a high demand for 10-hour shifts.
Coverage and team: No call coverage. A Nurse Practitioner assigned to the team completes patient pre-ops.
Requirements: Experience using EPIC is required. Experience with pediatric cardiac patients is strongly preferred. Experience working in a complex, academic medical center is strongly preferred. At least 3 years of experience practicing as a CRNA is strongly preferred.
