Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center in Owatonna, MN, seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 0.5–1.0 FTE. The role offers a $45,000 starting bonus and competitive benefits. Orientation and ongoing clinical support are provided.

This position requires NBCRNA certification, Minnesota RN and Advanced Practice licenses, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP preferred. In return, you’ll join a dedicated team delivering safe anesthesia care across surgical and obstetric settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia.
• Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Current Minnesota State Nursing License.
• Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP).

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures.
• Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary.
• Records the patient's vital signs and watches for significant changes.
• Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR.
• Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
