A leading healthcare provider in Mount Vernon is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens position that transitions to permanent. The role involves working in a small rural hospital with a supportive team. CRNAs will manage a variety of cases, primarily bread and butter, with a focus on adult patients and some pediatric cases. The position requires independence and the ability to perform epidurals. Lodging is provided, and the role offers a structured schedule.
Locums to PERM CRNA
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p, OR
4x10s/week (7am starts)
3 month block to start before converting to perm
Lodging provided by client
Department Description: small rural hospital (99 beds), CRNAs are expected to work independently, but have supervision and support 24/7. Bread and butter cases! NO heads/hearts/trauma. Peds ENT cases only. Occasional OB cases
Support Staff: Anesthesiologists, OR and Pr/Post Op staff
Patient Volume: 5-6 starts per day
Patient Age Group: 85% adults, 10% OB (for epidurals only), 3% adolescences, 2% 3-5yrs for ENT cases only
Special Procedures/Unit Details: bread and butter. MUST be able to perform epidurals on OB cases
Privileging Timeline: 60-120 days
