Job summary

RN.com is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for locum tenens support to fill a current need at a Pennsylvania facility.

The assignment involves 8-hour shifts 11 am–7 pm or earlier starts at 6:30 am for 10s/12s/14s/16s, with a broad case mix including high-acuity, orthopedics, endocrinology, vascular, and heads. EPIC is the EMR, and credentialing is 90–120 days before start.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania license required.
• CRNA certification required.
• Locum tenens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general, orthopedics, vascular, endocrinology, heads, and high-acuity cases.
• Manage a broad case mix and adapt to daily case complexity.
• Collaborate with care team and operate under variable patient ratios.
• Document care in EPIC EMR.

• Available Shift Length and Scheduling Requirements:8-hour shifts are 11 am - 7 pm; All other shifts start at 6:30 am (10's, 12's, 14's, or 16's)
• Required Cases: All cases, high-acuity, general bread and butter, orthopedics, endocrinology, vascular, and heads. The client needs a provider who can handle a large scope of cases.
• EMR: EPIC
• Care Team (and ratio) or Independent: 1:4,1:3 or 1:2 depending on the complexity of cases that day.
• Credentialing Timeframe:90-120days.
• Required Licensure:Must have an active Pennsylvania license.
