Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Annual Base Salary: $280,675.20 (does not include additional compensation for call pay or call-back time)

Position Details

The CRNA is a professional caregiver who provides anesthesia services to all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Essential Responsibilities of the CRNA include, but are not limited to:

• Provides anesthesia and related services in accordance with the AANA Guidelines for Nurses Anesthesia and the Code of Ethics.
• Performs a thorough and complete pre-anesthesia assessment, including request for pertinent diagnostic studies, if needed.
• Formulates, implements, and adjusts a patient specific plan for anesthesia care based upon the comprehensive patient assessment, analysis, the anticipated procedure, patient and surgeon preferences, and current anesthesia principles.
• Actively participates in the ongoing review and evaluation of the quality and appropriateness of anesthesia care provided.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and APRN in the state of Minnesota.
• The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with patients and families, peers, physicians, and other health care professionals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 80hours per biweekly pay period.
• 8-hour days with call requirements including weekday p.m. and nights, holidays, and weekends.
