Things You Will Do
ATLAS is a growing defense contractor, so you'll likely gain experience across diverse settings. Here are some things you'll probably do :
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments, including physical evaluations and patient interviews, to develop tailored anesthesia plans.
- Administered and managed anesthetics with precision, ensuring client safety, confidentiality, and ethical, quality service.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, making real-time adjustments to maintain optimal physiological status.
- Select and administer appropriate medications and treatments before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Evaluate post-anesthesia responses, taking swift corrective actions when complications arise.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures that enhance anesthesia safety and effectiveness.
- Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams supporting defense operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Current appropriate licensure and compliance with applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements for CRNAs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Anesthetist.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Active Board Certification.
- Proficiency with computer systems, common office equipment, and MS Office products.
- Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements, including potential shift changes based on operational needs and command priorities.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
- May require bending, stooping, and lifting for patient care and transport.
