Job Description

Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible shifts including 5x8's, 4x10's, or 3x12's. No call required. Hours guaranteed at 40/week unless the provider requests time off. Start date is ASAP upon credentialing.

Position Details: Full-time is strongly preferred but part-time and weekend-only shifts are accepted. Providers will not work on holidays but may work 12-hour shifts on other days. Preference for candidates with Pediatric (PEDS) and Gastrointestinal (GI) experience; GI schedule is Mon-Thurs (4x10's). Notate specific interests clearly.

Work Environment: Hospital-based with satellite locations nearby. Average surgical cases per day are 25. The team includes 11 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs. The care model is team-based, typically 1:2 or 1:3 supervision ratios. There are 10 operating rooms, and the EMR system used is EPIC. The FTE for this role is 4.

Procedures and Qualifications: Required procedures include general anesthesia for adults, spinal anesthesia, neurosurgical (spine), complex vascular (excluding open heart), and complex orthopedic cases. Fellowship training is not necessary for cardiac or pediatric cases.

Credentialing Timeline:

1. 60-90 days
2. Monday: Tour and badge
3. Tuesday: Epic training (all day)
4. Wednesday-Friday: Shadowing

Certificates Required:

• NBCRNA Certification
• Active Colorado (CO) License or IMLC
• Active BLS
• COVID Vaccination
