Job description

Location:

A city located in eastern Iowa. The Quad Cities area is about 30-40 miles southwest of this city, and Cedar Rapids is around 70 miles northwest.

Facility:

A medical center providing a range of services including emergency care, surgical procedures, imaging, maternity care, and more. They aim to provide high-quality, compassionate care to the community they serve.

Opportunity:

1. Candidate must have experience with procedures in both adult and pediatric patients.
2. CRNA shall directly provide all professional anesthesiology services and/or supervise and manage anesthesiology services to meet hospital requirements, available 24/7, including scheduled or on-call coverage.
3. Services include: general anesthesia (surgical, pediatric, thoracic, obstetrical), intravenous sedation, regional anesthesia, nerve blocks, and conductive anesthesia, as needed.
4. CRNA responsibilities also include:
   • Providing pre-evaluation anesthesia services per approved guidelines.
   • Monitoring post-surgical complications related to anesthesia.
   • Responding promptly to paging codes for anesthesia, as practitioner availability permits.
5. Collaborate with OR Leadership, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff.
6. Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, caring, and the ability to motivate others, aligning with the practice's philosophy, mission, and goals.
7. Experience with Cerner EMR system.
8. Eligible for federal school loan forgiveness programs.
