Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Associate Chief Anesthetist Officer (ACAO) and Regional Medical Director (RMD) to support clinical operational leadership in delivering strategic priorities for new and existing programs.
- Assist in developing and executing an Implementation Plan aligned with Sound Anesthesia's growth strategy.
- Partner with senior clinical leadership to develop and implement a facility Anesthesia Improvement Plan (AIP) as part of new site implementation planning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) from an accredited program.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through the NBCRNA.
- Valid and active registered nursing license and APRN license in applicable state(s).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief CRNA or similar high-level clinical leadership position.
- Active clinical practice in anesthesia to maintain skills and stay updated.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent clinician with planning, diagnostic, and crisis management skills.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
- Proficiency with various computer systems and applications.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with medical and administrative staff.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Living and Working Locally:
- Reside in or relocate to Arkansas.
- Clinically based schedule with administrative time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover Sound Anesthesia programs in OR, WA, and CA, supervising chief CRNAs to ensure successful implementation and ongoing improvement.
- Deliver orientation presentations to new team members and train site clinical leadership and staff on Sound Anesthesia's culture, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with ACAO, RMD, and RDO on anesthesia improvement planning, site implementation, and communication with hospital and leadership teams.
- Provide clinical anesthesia and assume leadership roles when needed to stabilize contracts and enhance anesthesia teams.
- Manage budgets for new and unstable facilities, train chief CRNAs in schedule development, and review overtime and variance requests.
- Work with credentialing and revenue departments to ensure compliance with provider enrollment and billing requirements.
