Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
People
- Provides leadership in the professional practice setting.

- Identifies patient problems and collaborates with the anesthesia, surgeon, and perioperative team in selecting appropriate interventions.

Service
- Conducts pre-anesthetic assessments and documents findings.
- Collaborates with anesthesiologists to determine and manage the anesthetic plan for all phases of care.
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all procedures.
- Provides airway management and intubations as needed throughout the hospital.
- Exceeds patient and customer expectations to meet the Henry Ford Experience standards.
- Identifies service and care improvement ideas and acts on them.
- Upholds standards and policies, supporting team accountability.
- Recognizes contributions of all healthcare team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details
Part-Time, Days, No Weekends, 2-3 Years' experience, willingness to rotate to other ambulatory sites.
Summary
Administers anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures, providing airway management and anesthesia care across age groups, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
Education/Experience Required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing and anesthesia school.
- Master's degree required.
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers.
Certifications/Licenses Required
- Michigan RN License, Specialty Certification, CRNA, ALS, BLS, and others as specified.
Customer Service & Personal Qualities
Practice core customer service skills and demonstrate qualities such as self-direction, teamwork, initiative, and respect for diversity.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Frequent walking, bending, lifting; variable environments including OR, Radiology, ICU, ER; exposure to hazards; driving may be required.
