Job description

TRIA is looking to hire a CRNA to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

This position is in a fast-paced, dynamic, orthopedic same-day surgery center that requires a team-centered individual who is a self-starter, flexible, self-sufficient, adaptable, efficient, and possesses good communication skills. The ideal candidate will contribute to the larger good of the institution and the performance of the entire team in providing and continually developing the best possible care processes for our orthopedic patients.

Preferred experience includes: In-patient hospital CRNA (3+ years), Same Day Surgery, delivering TIVA anesthetics, proficient IV skills, and excellent staff and patient/family communication skills. A minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience (ages 5 and up) is preferred. New Graduates are encouraged to apply. The working locations are TRIA: Bloomington and Woodbury, Minnesota, as needed.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is responsible for administering safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician. The CRNA will provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital. The CRNA will demonstrate awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and participate in achieving those goals.

Work Schedule:

Weekdays, no weekends

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a School of Nursing and a School of Anesthesia.
  • Master’s degree in anesthesia or a related field is preferred.
  • Participation in a professional organization is desirable.
  • Current RN license in the State of Minnesota.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility if a new hire.
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements following NCQA guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles to provide appropriate patient care and ensure safety.
  • Computer keyboarding skills are desirable.
  • BLS provider status in accordance with AHA guidelines.
