Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, Montana is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team. You will administer anesthesia and related care across four categories: pre-anesthetic prep, induction/maintenance, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthetic support.

The role offers a competitive salary with sign-on bonus, CE funds of $3500/year plus licensing reimbursement, and regular hours of 200 weekdays per year with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.
• Pass NBCRNA exam and recertification required every four years.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
• Independent Practice experience required.
• Experience in CAH setting preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience, 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four categories: pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; induction, maintenance and emergence; post-anesthesia care; and peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team and hospital staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications, Education, Training and Experience

• Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.
• Pass the certification examination administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) and recertification required on a four year basis

• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
• In this position, the CRNA will practice according to their expertise, Montana state statutes/regulations, and institutional policy.
