Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our anesthesia care team in Zion, IL. You will work with anesthesiologists and providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia for complex cancer treatments and procedures.

This role offers a top-of-scope practice in a mission-driven environment, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient experience, in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited COA nurse anesthesia program.
• Certified or recertified by the NBCRNA.
• Meets state criteria for medical malpractice coverage.
• Demonstrated clinical competency across a broad range of anesthesia techniques.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• Proficiency with EMR.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced perioperative anesthesia care for patients 17 years and older across a wide range of acuity levels and clinical environments.
• Support Surgical Specialties including Neurosurgery, ENT, Thoracic.
• Assist with Pain Management, Radiation Oncology, CT and MRI procedures.
• Perform anesthesia planning, induction, maintenance, emergence, and postanesthesia evaluation.

Schedule: Full‑Time

Compensation: $250,000-$280,000 annually + $50,000 sign‑on bonus

Responsibilities include patient assessment, anesthesia planning, induction, maintenance, emergence, and postanesthesia evaluation following established clinical protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Council on Accreditation (COA) nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the NBCRNA
• Meets institutional and state criteria for medical malpractice coverage
• Demonstrated clinical competency across a broad range of anesthesia techniques
• Active Illinois RN license and compliance with all CRNA regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
