Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to administer comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical and obstetric settings. You will perform pre-assessments, create care plans, and coordinate with anesthesiologists and nurses to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role includes post-anesthesia care, effective pain management, and ongoing clinical mentorship of SRNAs within a collaborative team. ACLS and NBCRNA certification are essential.

Qualifications

• CRNA licensed with NBCRNA certification and ACLS certification required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited university.
• Teaching experience or high-acuity setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans with provider input.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management in collaboration with the team.
• Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and maintain documentation in the medical record.
• Mentor SRNAs and participate in interdisciplinary rounds and teaching.
