Temple University Health System is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join their treatment team. In this role, you will provide peer support and lead recovery groups, assisting patients with drug and alcohol history through their recovery process while helping with community integration and aftercare support.
This position will be based at TUHE but may follow patients with drug and alcohol (D&A) history through their entire encounter throughout the health system. They will be an active member of the patient's treatment team. In this role, the CRS will engage patients as a peer and may interact with family members, aftercare providers and any additional outside supports. The individual in this position will lead groups, conduct individual sessions and provide a variety of supportive services related to assisting the patient through their recovery process. They will also provide support with community integration by providing resources and accompanying patients to aftercare appointments with outside providers and housing sites.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Associates Degree (Preferred)
Experience
Minimum 18 months lived experience in D&A Recovery (Required)
1 year prior work/volunteer experience as Recovery Specialist (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CRS - Cert Recovery Specialist (Required)
