Job summary

Can We Talk LLC seeks a Peer Recovery Specialist to support clients with goal setting under supervision of an LPC. You will document care plans and referrals, ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality records. The role requires strong communication, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in a recovery-focused environment.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, coordinating with community resources, and travel as needed to meet client needs, with daily charting across eight units of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist is required or must be pursued to meet qualifications.
• Excellent verbal communication and empathy are essential for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with care plan goals set by the LPC.
• Write medical and referral notes as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and all federal/state laws and Pathways policies.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and outcomes review.
• Facilitate group meetings for clients.
• Link clients to community resources and support networks.
• Travel as necessary for peer purposes.
• Complete end-of-day charting for 8 units.
