Job summary

Adapt Integrated Health Care in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking a Certified Recovery Mentor to join our team. This full-time role focuses on peer-delivered, direct-client services to support recovery and well-being.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Qualifications include MHACBO CRM certification or eligibility, and a personal recovery experience with abstinence requirements.

Qualifications

• MHACBO CRM certification or eligible for the same.
• Candidate must be a self-identified person in recovery from an addiction, who meets abstinence requirements for recovering staff in an alcohol or other drug treatment program (2 years).
• 21+ and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build personal relationships with people experiencing behavioral health challenges and educate staff and community about Peer Support Services.
• Support clients in expanding social and recovery support networks.
• Help people plan appointments, share problem-solving skills, and assist with access to services.
• Model a healthy recovery lifestyle and integrate such skills into daily living.
• Assist peers in housing, employment, and interactions with probation/counselors.

Certified Recovery Mentor

Salary Range: $19.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a qualified Certified Recovery Mentor to join their team!This position works Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Certified Recovery Mentor provides peer-delivered, direct-client services to clients within SUD departments to improve clients' connections to activities that promote continued recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• MHACBO certified CRM (Certified Recovery Mentor) or eligible for same
• Candidate must be a self-identified person in recovery from an addiction disorder, who meets the abstinence requirements for recovering staff in an alcohol or other drug treatment program (2 years)
• 21+ and possess a valid drivers license

Primary Responsibilities

• Build personal relationships with people experiencing behavioral health challenges. Educate agency staff, community organizations, and the general community about Peer Support Services and the specific needs of those in treatment/recovery from addiction and mental health issues.
• Support clients in expanding their social and recovery support networks.
• Help people plan appointments, share problem-solving skills, and assist with system access skills.
• Model a healthy recovery lifestyle and assist with incorporating such skills into daily living.
• Assist peers in accessing housing and employment, interactions with probation and parole, employers, communication with agency staff, and case managers in various community organizations.
• Participate in recovery support groups and/or agency alumni recovery events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service delivery in compliance with agency requirements. Complete required reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with agency case managers and counselors to maintain service delivery continuity.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to agency Ethics and other policies.
