We are looking for a Certified Radiology Technologist-Mammography to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health!

What You'll Do:

  1. Perform general head, sinus, chest, abdominal, pelvic, and lumbar computed tomography procedures, as well as specialty procedures as requested.
  2. Confirm images sent to Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and send images to Vitrea as requested by Radiologist.
  3. Operate power injector and assist with daily quality control procedures (i.e., imaging of phantom, checking contrast temperature, and checking crash cart).
  4. If mammography certified, perform mammograms and document quality control procedures (e.g., cassette and darkroom cleanliness, processor quality control, etc.).
  5. Scan images in R2 unit for CAD assistance and ensure all data has been gathered and placed for interpretation by Radiologist in a timely manner.
  6. Maintain competency and current knowledge of all radiographic procedures including Computed Tomography (CT) and/or mammography and surgical imaging.
  7. Operate all imaging equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images, including proper technique, patient positioning, collimating, shielding, and immobilization of the patient.
  8. Maintain equipment to ensure operational functioning, reporting any potential hazards or malfunctions to a supervisor.
  9. Provide technical radiological services as requested by patient’s physician to assist in the diagnoses of disease, injury, and detection of foreign bodies.
  10. Process images through the use of workstations and Computed Radiography (CR) units; assess quality of images prior to sending them to PACS.
  11. Assist the Radiologist and/or other Physicians with procedures directly related to diagnostic/interventional radiology.
  12. Schedule patient procedures, providing pre-exam instructions, and verify patient/caregiver understanding of instruction.

Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered, Licensure in the state of Ohio, and maintains certification in either Mammography or meets the MQSA criteria (registry eligible) in the performance of mammography. Two to three years of experience in radiology is required. ARRT registered; current Ohio Radiographer License, Mammography Certificate (registry eligible) and/or Computed Tomography certificate (registry eligible).

Shift: 1st

Hours: 60 per pay (every two weeks)
