Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license (where applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams per department protocol and ensure image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Technologists on protocols and equipment.
• Identify patients, verify orders, prepare patients for exams, and maintain proper records.
