Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Radiographer to perform a range of diagnostic procedures with emphasis on image quality and patient safety. The role requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration (or eligible with ARRT completion within 90 days), and an Ohio license at hire.

CPR certification is required, and prior radiography experience is preferred. The position includes benefits and opportunities within the Mount Carmel Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R), or registry eligible. Registry Eligible staff must complete their ARRT within 90 days of employment.
• Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required at the time of hire.
• Maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Responsible for entering online charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
