Valley View Elementary School District #35 is seeking a highly motivated teacher to join its teaching team for the 2025–2026 school year. The successful candidate will be a team player with an open mind, willing to assist in all aspects of a multi‑grade classroom environment. Specific duties will be determined by the applicant’s strengths.

Academic Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Certification in Elementary Education K‑8 and possess a Montana Teaching license, or have the ability to obtain one.
• The candidate must pass a background check.

Supplemental Information

The district operates a four‑day school week Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with potential field trips on Fridays.

Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary under the STARS plan, a retirement system contribution, and possible stipends for additional leadership duties and a Special Education endorsement.

Quality Educator Loan Assistance Program

This position qualifies for the Montana Legislature’s Quality Educator Loan Assistance Program. The program offers up to $3,000 in state‑funded loan repayment at the end of the first year, $4,000 at the end of the second year, and $5,000 at the end of the third year.
