We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead and manage our SOC 1 & SOC 2 audit processes. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with GRC platforms such as Vanta, Drata, and Sprinto, and a solid understanding of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type I/II audits across various client environments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between audit firms and internal stakeholders.
• Configure and manage GRC platforms like Vanta, Drata, or Sprinto to automate evidence collection, monitor controls, and maintain compliance readiness.
• Evaluate existing internal controls and recommend improvements in line with AICPA standards.
• Prepare audit documentation, risk assessments, and readiness checklists.
• Stay updated on evolving compliance standards and best practices in information security and privacy.
• Train internal teams on control requirements, audit preparedness, and GRC tool usage.

Requirements:

• CPA certification required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits (Big 4 or mid-tier firm experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with at least one GRC tool: Vanta, Drata, or Sprinto.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
• Knowledge of security and data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Experience supporting or managing other audits is a plus (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
