Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking a Founding Tax Lead for Chicago, IL (Downtown) on a hybrid schedule to help build and scale an equity-backed tax platform.

CPA licensed with 5–15 years in public accounting is required; candidate should bring an entrepreneurial mindset and broad tax experience including S-Corp and pass-through work. Travel with the Co-Founder will be required.

The role offers immediate real equity and comprehensive healthcare including vision and dental.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed required.
• 5-15 years in Public Accounting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset is a MUST!!!
• HNWI and Individual Tax expertise is a plus, but the position will soon take on S-Corp, Pass-Through and Corporate Tax work so as well so a broad experience is deal.

Our client is highly funded firm backed by major equity players out of San Fransico that have created and launched an API first, IRS Authorized revolutionary e-filing tax engine approved by the United States that rivals UltraTax, CCH, Drake, Lacerte, and others.

The firm is aggressively growing performing a select search for a Founding Tax Lead to join its growing team in Chicago, IL (downtown) on a Hybrid Schedule. This position offers Immediate Real Equity with a chance to help continue to build out the already established platform. This position is right for an CPA-Licensed Experienced Tax Professional (5-15 years' experience) with a generalist tax background and an entrepreneurial mindset
