A medical equipment distributor is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist for their Salinas, CA facility. This full-time role involves evaluating, fabricating, and custom fitting prosthetic and orthopedic devices. Candidates must be currently licensed and have a passion for patient care. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed and/or certified and in good standing by governing agency in your field of study either ABC or BOC.
• Must maintain CME’s annually in accordance with ABC and BOC guidelines.
• Must practice within your scope of work unless privileged by a supervisor or practitioner of another specialty.

Responsibilities

• Examine, interview, and measure patients to determine appliance needs.
• Fit, test, and evaluate devices on patients, adjusting for proper fit.
• Instruct patients in the use and care of orthoses and prostheses.
