Summit Orthotics & Prosthetics in Eugene, OR is seeking an experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO) to evaluate, design, fabricate, fit and align prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have ABC/BOC certification, 3–5 years of clinical experience or a residency, strong knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, CAD/CAM fabrication

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO).
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure per state requirements.
• 3–5 years of clinical practice preferred (Resident considered).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history, physical exam, and lifestyle evaluation.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices per prescriptions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use and care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical team for coordinated care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and device specs per policy.
• Coordinate with operations staff to ensure timely care delivery.
