Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• CMA licensure within 1 year of appointment.
• Income Qualified Designation within 2 years.
• AMA accreditation within 5 years of CMA.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine appraisal, assessment, and application of regulations to assessments.
• Inspect construction; schedule and prioritize inspections.
• Compute and verify assessment calculations.
• Assist in training of new staff.
• Explain and defend assessments to property owners, tax court, and County Board of Equalization.
