About

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are invited to join Amsterdam Nursing Home, a facility located in the heart of New York City. We are actively hiring LPN Team Members for all shifts in our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base rate is $35.38 with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts
• Non-Union rate is $45/hr
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions
• New grads are welcome to apply
• Now hiring directly into the union

Responsibilities

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Valid NY State LPN license
• Good standing with the State Registry
