Job summary

Fortis Industries is seeking a reliable Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to join our on-site team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will maintain commercial pools, balance water chemistry, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include inspections, records, equipment upkeep, and prompt issue resolution while working independently in varying outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
  • Experience in commercial pool maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of pool water chemistry and equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Test and balance pool water chemistry.
  • Maintain chemical levels and document readings.
  • Clean skimmers, baskets, filters, pumps, and other pool equipment.
  • Identify and report equipment issues or needed repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all pools meet local, state, and facility safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues as needed.

Remote Status: On-Site


We are seeking a reliable and motivated Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a current CPO certification, experience maintaining commercial swimming pools, and the ability to work independently while ensuring pools remain safe, clean, and compliant with all applicable health and safety regulations.


Responsibilities


  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of commercial swimming pools and spa systems.

  • Test and balance pool water chemistry.

  • Maintain proper chemical levels and accurately document readings.

  • Clean skimmers, baskets, filters, pumps, and other pool equipment.

  • Identify and report equipment issues or needed repairs.

  • Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.

  • Ensure all pools meet local, state, and facility safety standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.


Requirements


  • Must be able to successfully pass a military installation background check.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening.

  • Must be dependable, professional, and maintain a strong work ethic.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.


Pay Range $22.47 per hour + $5.55 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits)
